Hiatus?

We've tried to make a go of it for the last 3 months, but we're actually seeing less views each week. The continuing cost of hosting the files, with the negative views had lead us to decide to put Interjection! on indefinite hiatus while we work on real life issues, such as school, child-rearing, and work.

Thank you listeners! It's been fun!

The Joys of Podcasting

So, we're going to have to delay to next week do to a series of silly and then unfortunate events.

I was out of town until Monday on a research trip and completely forgot it was, you know, Monday. I'm on Spring Break, and that might explain a bit. I decided to put off the post until Thursday so I could finish editing, and got to work.

I woke up Wednesday morning with a bricked computer.  Something updated in the overnight and tanked my whole system. It took me, quite literally, all day and most of the evening to get everything back to where it was, and in the process I lost my editing program and edited files.

I managed to save the originals, but the frustration is making me insane. So, I made an executive decision and decided it's better to push the pod off a week than cry trying to make soemthing that's just supposed to be a fun hobby for us.

We'll be back next week on our regular schedule.

Thank you for understanding!

Corrine

Sneak Peak: Interjection!

Hello everyone!

We've been talking about this project for a few weeks, and are in the process of pulling together weekly podcasts.  We apologize in advance for the sound quality on this sneak peak. It seems someone's husband stole the good mic and Corrine is learning to use the audio software so there are a few rough jump cuts and fuzzy pops that just couldn't be helped. We promise by episode 3 we'll have a better grip on things!

The pod will release on Wednesday each week, and for now, will vary in length.

This week Janet & Corrine introduce themselves and their credentials, and have a good laugh about their excessive geekery.
